After waiting for a couple of years to be able to collect the ring because of Covid I am so so happy for this couple to have had their amazing proposal experience.
How did you feel when you had to start looking for an engagement ring?
It was a bit daunting. I had no idea where to start and there seemed to be so many options and rings out there I wasn’t sure where to begin.
How did you hear about Stephanie Stevens Jewellery?
Living in Canada, but being from Cornwall it was important to me to get a ring from back home and from a local maker so I was excited when I found Stephanie online.
Why was it important for you to have a bespoke ring?
I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, and I also liked the idea of having something completely unique.
Main reason you chose Stephanie to design and make your ring?
I found Steph’s website through google, and it was very useful and gave exactly what I was looking for. On reaching out to Steph, and having the initial video call, I felt as though the designing the ring was as important to Steph as it was to me. She was very friendly, and very helpful – explaining everything to me.
What was it like receiving the photos of your ring being made and how did it make you feel?
Amazing! It was so good to see the ring coming together from start to finish and really made the whole process a lot more exciting. It was so good to see the ring in all of it’s stages! She also made many helpful suggestions along the way.
Your favourite part of the journey?
How friendly Steph was! It really felt as though Steph was as excited as I was.

Tell us about the proposal 🙂
We went for a coffee at a cafe by Gwithian and then took a walk on the beach. Although it was raining a little bit, it was there that we got engaged before having a stay at Bedruthan.
How does it feel now you have your dream ring?
It’s lovely, and very meaningful that my ring is everything I wanted, yet unique and one of a kind. Sam took a few things that he knew I wanted and expanded upon them and added to the design and it turned out perfect.
What does your ring mean to you?
It is so special to me knowing the amount of effort that went into making it and all of the thought behind it. I love to share the background story of my ring knowing how meaningful it is.
Any other comments?
We genuinely enjoyed this experience so much, and are so very happy with the final product of the engagement ring. We get many compliments on it and are so very happy to share it’s story!
